yahoo again is updating its index pages and ranking algorithm on their own search engine. They have already confirmed this on their blog about the current changes which they called weather report. They are rolling out out changes and seeing a lot more improvement than the previous rankings.
The changes started last night and we will observe the full update to be completed maybe 3-5 days or so. As far as analyzing the new results, it is just the same algorithm used two months ago. There are also observers saying that major tweak was the use of sitewide links pointing to the sites. Let us observe this changes and confirm some scenarios and observations by other webmasters.

What does this mean? Yahoo LOVES sitewides? Not? Yahoo is USING sitewide links themselves?

HD,
eventhough uses sitewide the quote above tells about how yahoo trying to eliminate or outranked sites with sitewide links pointing to them. I also made some experiment on this issue on a certain term, two different url with no links at first, same content, then build links to the it, one I am building links coming from an outside sitewide link, then another url, is building links on page basis. meaning not sitewides, the experiment yield some positive result on the url with individual link pointing to them, though not few spot away from each other.
