For my other visitors not inclined on search engine optimization subject and receiving e-mails like, “you’ve got e-card”, “you’re friend sent you an e-card”, a beautiful e-card for you”. Think twice or thrice before opening the mail.
I have been receiving tons of mails like this one with e-cards. And i don’t have the time for this trick, so just simply delete all of those mails. Spam protection is not enough for this mail spammers. So be careful on opening this kind of mail. Some tips you before opening it.
1. Make sure that the sender’s name is someone you know.
2. Think if there is an occasion or moment that someone will send you an e-card. So even if you know the person, wonder why he or she sent you one.
Opening the mail itself will not do any harm, unless upon opening of some e-cards mail, they prompted or a pop-up appears to download or install you something on your pc to view the card.
3. Don’t click on any link inside the e-card mail. Be sure to check the sources.
These link embedded to the e-card can yield you to an infected site or can install a virus, malware or spyware compromising your personal computer and may lead to your computer crash, information theft stored on your pc, like credit card info, bank information and others.
