I am not actually fond of recommending an article from a blog unless it is from an update or an important search engine news or seo. Sometimes some blog got my attention and decided to post it here. But don’t take my word on it, it is just my personal opinion and strongly recommending to link to other blog on your post as a reference or as the article made you think is worthy enough to give a link love.

Just as today, I have received a comment on one of a blog post from Aurelius Tjin, about an article on Doing many Projects as what I am doing now. My day job not on any marketing or seo field that is far from the subject actually having this scenario. I was overrun with too many projects that at end point not finishing any on a certain day and just redo everything from the start the day after the chaos.

So what I have done if my boss pass some project to me, try to classify it according. Is it urgent and important? Is it urgent but NOT important? Is it important but not urgent? And not important and not urgent at all. You can basically pin point the difference of those especially the question 2 and 3.

Also make use of a tool to track your progress and activity list to ensure that you are at the target. If you know how to use Microsoft Project, it is a good tool for creating a Project Plan.
