Yahoo recently added NOYDIR Meta Tag which a functionality is the same as NOODP, where search results that is being displayed in the search engines are the data from the directory.

Basically, Yahoo implemented and already supported this NOODP meta tags but refined it with NOYDIR on its Yahoo Directory Listing.

If you want to use this Meta tag in order for Yahoo not to pull in data from yahoo directory where your site is listed you can use this format

<meta name=”ROBOTS” content=”NOYDIR” />

or

<meta name=”Slurp” content=”NOYDIR” />

In lieu with this implementation, Yahoo also made it search engine updates to include this implementation. Stay tuned for more updates.
