With the recent move of yahoo and improving mail services to offer free text messaging on its mails system, will google gmail do the same? Or it will just leave yahoo dominate the area on services like mail system?
Having a competition is good to users to choose which system offer them a good user experience. Gmail already have chat function on this mail so as yahoo. Free text messaging inside your mail area, is a very good addition to the service. Will google again call it game?
Would you recommend that google will do the same? It way up to google with its gmail to add this feature on its mail system. Gmail and yahoo mail is both offering a good choice of user email experience. Gmail also have many features as stated on their Gmail known features on their official blog.

Google already has a free text messaging service similar to that of the Bebos and Peekamo.

yes, it is , but it is not yet integrated in gmail platform unlike yahoo mail.
