Dougal Gunters blog just posted some information and plug-in compatibility issues on Wordpress 2.5. And some plug-ins don’t work yet on the system. And with the upcoming release on March 10, 2008 with wordpress 2.5, will you upgrade?
Another area to focus is the roadmap posted on the wordpress roadmap or planned version release of the blog platform.

With the upcoming releases and open tickets in this area, I don’t think I will upgrade just yet. Will have to wait till the release becomes stable but the problem is a new version might pop up again. Is it wise to upgrade to it?

I wont upgrade till the end of the year..
Most of the plugins work well with 2.3 version and i don’t think any changes would be needed right now.

I will not upgrade yet either. I have just got a blog set up and working and do not know enough about wordpress to go tinkering with thinks I don’t too much about.

I don’t know why but somehow I am not to open to up gradation of any software or plugin. I have always had bad experiences, either my data has lost or some plugins stopped working. I guess I will take everybody’s feed back and then upgrade this time.

No plans to update any time soon. If I set up a new site I will go with the latest version.

Hello, I will not be updating my current version at this time because of the possible bugs and loss of data. When it is anounced more stable and more people use it, then I plan on updating.

I just started a blog using 2.5 and I upgraded one of my smaller sites with 2.5 as well. So far, no major problems - just be sure to have a good back-up first because you never know what might go wrong.
