Wordpress 2.3 Release candidate 1 out to public
Wordpress development just announced its release of wordpress 2.3 release candidate 1 after a series of beta testing of wordpress 2.3 line. There are bug fixes and some modification on this release candidate. You can still experience some bugs so be cautious on upgrading.
Although we consider this release candidate to be stable, keep in mind that this is still pre-release software. You may find some lingering bugs. Please back up your database before upgrading. If you have problems with RC1, you will not be able to revert back to your previous release without a database backup.
So if you are running at wordpress 2.3, be sure to upgrade in this latest version to avoid those errors experienced on the previous beta releases. Goodluck and you can download the release here.
