Wordpress just released its first update on wordpress 2.5 series. This is a security release for wordpress. Some of my wordpress blog are now updated with this release.
Some features added and fixes.According to the wordpress development blog.
It includes a number of bug fixes, performance enhancements, and one very important security fix.
* Performance improvements for the Dashboard, Write Post, and Edit Comments pages. * Better performance for those who have many categories * Media Uploader fixes * An upgrade to TinyMCE 3.0.7 * Widget Administration fixes * Various usability improvements * Layout fixes for IE
So it is advisable to update to this version. Wordpress 2.5 is quite an experience over the other version of the wordpress and more secure as they say.

It is great news. I’d hate to think that all that hard work can be undone by a simple security flaw.
