Yahoo just announced that it has put an agreement to acquire another global ad network called BlueLithium. On the front page of BlueLithium displaying a big Yahoo! logo with the head at “BlueLithium has been acquired by Yahoo!”.

The acquisition of BlueLithium enables Yahoo! to accelerate its advertising, product, and engineering roadmaps, and gives the company increased capabilities to sell and measure performance-based campaigns both on and off the Yahoo! network
Yodel blog also mentioned this on the blog about the acquisition. It seems that yahoo is gearing towards global manipulation of advertising industry. Or maybe monopolozing it, but as long as the service is great and no after effect problems. This will be a good news for strengthening their advertising business.
